Paper Plane Day at HALCO

HALCO’S COMPETITIVE TEAM SPIRIT WAS IN FULL FLIGHT TODAY!

On Thursday afternoon, all of the HALCO Team took part in a Paper Plane challenge to raise money for Midlands Air Ambulance.

The aim was to see whose plane would fly the furthest from our office windows. Congratulations to Dany Detre who was a clear winner in the competition, with his plane landing on the other side of the road!

Midlands Air Ambulance cover a phenomenal 6 counties with just 3 helicopters.

Did you know? It costs the charity £2,500  for a helicopter to take flight, with a paramedic and doctor present. To keep their services running, the charity relies on the generosity of local businesses and communities, in order to maintain the £9m running costs.

We are proud to have raised some money for the charity, and also have a great deal of fun!
