To mark the end of World Autism Awareness Month, supporting Autism West Midlands, HALCO took part in the annual Silly Sock Day today.
The challenge was set out for the HALCO team to wear the silliest, craziest, wackiest socks to work – and of course, we rose to the challenge.
The overall winner of the Silly Sock Day was Warehouse Manager, Ben Butler with his 1996 England football ‘away kit’ socks.
Autism West Midlands support people with autism to lead fulfilling and rewarding lives, and helping them overcome an often challenging journey. The charity also offers support to the family, including specialist training for parents or carers. A donation of £200 pays for a 2-hour online specialist advice session reaching 100 people.
